These intensities were identified as entropic by superimposing GIS data sets such as powerlines and landfill to capture dereliction, dissipation and toxicity.

Vectors were identified using GIS data, then tested in the field. The GIS procedure enabled the incorporation of an established coastal walkway along the edge of the Manukau Harbour, a railway corridor and a stormwater system.

A vector between two intensities can itself become a site for intervention. A series of interventions may occur along the length of the vector or a story may unfold as the visitor travels along that vector.
